手持式激光焊接冷水机主要是对激光设备的激光发生器进行水循环冷却，并控制激光发生器的使用温度，使激光发生器可以长时间保持正常工作。激光设备在长时间运行过程中，激光发生器会不断产生高温，温度过高就会影响激光发生器的正常工作，从而容易受损，所以为了延长激光器使用寿命，就需要冷水机在旁边通过水循环方式对激光器冷却，确保其在恒温或设定温度下正常工作。
